The Trails

Breadcrumb Navigation

When we moved in, fall was upon us and the dropped leaves gave us new visibility of the property we purchased. Suddenly, everything made much more sense; we could see the trails, the natural springs, flow and the property lines. It was truly amazing. When spring 2021 came around, we witness the abundance and the growth; our Mayflower forest at the deer crossing where the springs meet; the Trillium patches along the springs and under the trees; the native Rivercane lining the back of the property springs; fern gulley at Magnolia crossing; and the jewel – Golden Chanterell mushroom forests along the trails.

The existing animal trails were kept in use and expanded. Billy bush hogged trails for mobility and a spring side campground for access and we continued trekking and clearing walking trails.
